What we collect
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for your name, company, email address, an optional phone number and your message. When you send it, those details are emailed to our sales team. They are not stored in a database on this website.
When you browse the site

Like any website, the services that host this site and deliver its images receive technical information when your device requests a page or an image, including your IP address and browser type.

- To reply to your enquiry and deal with it, including helping you open a trade account. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To understand and improve the website using Google Analytics. Our lawful basis is your consent.

Cookies

Google Analytics does not load, and sets no cookies, unless you accept it in the cookie notice. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. You can change it at any time: . If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can stop Google Analytics collecting data about you with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Who we share it with
We use service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Resend, which delivers enquiry emails to us;
- Google, which provides Google Analytics;
- Netlify, which hosts the website;
- Cloudflare, which delivers the website’s images.
We may also disclose personal data if the business is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will give notice before it becomes subject to a different privacy policy; or where we are required to by law, or believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, prevent or investigate wrongdoing, or protect the safety of users or the public.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure the safeguards required by UK data protection law are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above: enquiries for as long as it takes to deal with them and any trading relationship that follows, and longer only where the law requires it or to resolve disputes. Analytics data is kept for a limited period and used in aggregate.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to how we use it;
- ask for your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email sales@dmbrands.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
